A Health Retreat that reflects your values
At The Body Retreat we want to help you respect and protect your body for life. Far from being a quick fix, our retreats are designed to help you find balance in the long term by focusing holistically on four Pillars of Wellbeing – Mindset, Menu, Movement and– the best bit – Maintenance.
Our programmes take into account everything that could affect your wellbeing, from the eating habits that can cause you to put on weight to the hormones that can play havoc with your weight, mood or confidence. We want you to enjoy the journey, of course, so you won’t find anything in our programmes that’s austere or complicated. We keep each of our retreats small too, so you can be sure of our personal attention and support so you gain the result you want
and deserve.
Our 4 Pillars of Women’s Wellness
Mindset
Before any long lasting change can happen in the body, change must first start in the mind. Our thoughts become feelings, those feelings manifest as behaviours, behvaiours soon become habits, so if we get Mindset right the rest will follow.
Safe, confidential and extremely effective group sessions in Hypnotherapy and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) led by Juls are at the heart of each retreat, and will help you identify and overcome barriers to your own success.
Menu
Diets are about restriction and deprivation whereas Menus are all about choice. We want you to learn how to choose to nourish your body and your brain eating real food.
The food you will eat at The Body Retreat will both surprise and delight you. Delicious food freshly prepared to your dietary requirements. With recipes and meal plans to take home you will be well equipped to keep eating well.
Movement
We differentiate between activity and exercise and encourage movement in a way that suits you, your lifestyle and your health goals.
No matter your age, size, fitness level every class at The Body Retreat can be tailored for you, so whether you are a regular exerciser already, are returning from illness or injury or have been sedentary for some time Julie and her team will ensure you enjoy moving safely and effectively.
Maintenance
The glue that holds long lasting health and wellbeing together. Learning all the facets of a building a lifestyle from sleep, stress, rest, play
Not to mention having our continued support once you have joined our retreat family. Camaraderie, emotional support and fun are at the heart of our retreats so it’s no surprise you’ll leave feeling revitalised with the confidence and motivation to continue taking care of your body and mind.
